Annual Day Celebration – “Joyful Steps: One Global Beat”
The Annual Day Celebration of DAV Public School, Gole Market, was a spectacular showcase of talent, creativity, and excellence. The event commenced with an enthusiastic welcome address, followed by the DAV Gaan and Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing the illumination of wisdom and knowledge.
The audience was privileged to witness the felicitation of esteemed guests, including Chief Guest Mrs. Chitra Nakra, whose presence added prestige to the occasion. The Principal’s Address further emphasized the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds and shaping future leaders.
A special moment of reverence was dedicated to teachers through a heartfelt Guru Vandana, showcasing gratitude for their invaluable guidance.
The cultural extravaganza, themed “Joyful Steps – One Global Beat,” took the audience on a mesmerizing journey across different cultures through captivating dance performances, music, and theatrical acts by the students of classes pre-2. Each segment highlighted the diversity and unity that define our global community, leaving the audience in awe.
The Chief Guest’s Address was a moment of inspiration, as Mrs. Chitra Nakra shared words of wisdom and encouragement, motivating students to strive for excellence.
The programme also witnessed the much-anticipated Prize Distribution Ceremony, where students were recognized for their outstanding achievements in academics, arts, and co-curricular activities. Awards such as Budding Picasso, Twinkle Toes, Radio Jockey, Maths Whiz, and Little Maestro were presented to deserving young talents.
As the event drew to a close, Teacher In-charge, Mrs. vandana Mehra, delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to making the event a grand success.
The celebration concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, followed by an organized dispersal, ensuring discipline and decorum.
