Report on Independence Day Celebration 2026
Independence Day Celebrated with Pride and Purpose ‘Freedom is not merely a privilege we inherit; it is a responsibility we must uphold.’ Independence Day was celebrated with immense zeal and a deep sense of national pride at our school. Mrs Renu Laroiya, the Manager of the school, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting by the Chief Guest, followed by the National Anthem. She was then felicitated with a green bouquet as a token of respect and gratitude. Thereafter, the Principal, Ma’am, addressed the gathering and reminded the students that the freedom we enjoy today was not achieved easily. It was earned through the sacrifices, courage and determination of countless freedom fighters. She urged the students to value their freedom and fulfil their responsibilities as citizens of the nation. The cultural programme began with a heartfelt speech by a Class I student, followed by a captivating ballet titled ‘Hands That Built India.’ The students of Class II portrayed some of India’s unsung heroes and highlighted their significant contributions to the freedom struggle. The programme continued with vibrant dance performances showcasing the invaluable role of doctors, farmers, soldiers and teachers in building a strong and progressive nation. The performances were interspersed with engaging anchoring, which kept the audience connected with the spirit of the celebration. This was followed by the Investiture Ceremony, during which the newly elected Student Council members were honoured with their badges. The young leaders then took the pledge to discharge their duties with sincerity, dedication and responsibility. The celebration concluded with a thought-provoking and inspiring speech by the Chief Guest, Mrs Renu Laroiya. Her words motivated the students to cherish the freedom they have inherited and contribute meaningfully towards the progress of the nation. The celebration was a beautiful blend of patriotism, cultural expression and a strong message of responsibility towards the nation.
